Jared Kushner, Melania Trump reportedly advise Trump to accept loss

A Trump campaign spokesman took to Twitter to deny the reports

Senior adviser and son-in-law to President Donald Trump, Jared Kushner has reportedly approached the President, asking him to concede in the election, according to sources.

CNN also reported that first lady Melania Trump has expressed that her husband must face the outcome of the election and accept his loss.

Jason Miller, Trump’s campaign spokesman and senior advisor, took to Twitter to deny the reports from the CNN story. “This story is not true,” Miller said. “Jared advised @realdonaldtrump to pursue all available legal remedies to ensure accuracy.”

He followed up in another tweet to dispel the rumors surrounding the first lady as “fake news.”

Kate Bedingfield, Biden-Harris’s deputy campaign manager, said that as of Saturday no communication has taken place between Trump and Biden, or between the representatives of their respective campaigns.

CNN reported that Trump was at his golf course in Sterling, Virginia when news broke of Biden’s victory on Saturday.

Trump continues to turn to social media to voice his opposition to the results of the presidential race which he accused the Democratic party of stealing.

“Since when does the Lamestram Media call who our next president will be?” Trump tweeted Sunday. “We have all learned a lot in the last two weeks!”

Twitter has continued to flag his tweets as misleading with warnings that read, “Learn how voting by mail is safe and secure” and “This claim about election fraud is disputed.”

Trump continues to push his lawyers to pursue lawsuits to delay the formal certification of the election results. On Saturday, he filed a lawsuit in Arizona and looks to “overturn” the states that helped Biden secure his win, according to Reuters.
